about

I'm so glad you're here.

Taking the first step to find a therapist is brave work. I know because I’ve been in your shoes.  Long before I was a therapist, I was a client first. My healing journey began in college when an amazing therapist came into my life, threw me a life raft and guided me through some pretty tough stuff.

This radically changed the course for my life for the better. Fast forward 25 years since my first therapy experience, and after a whole lotta learning, living and growing, I’m so grateful to be here, ready and willing to extend a hand to you in your time of need.

My Approach

Healing, to me, is all about being deeply present, connected, and real. My approach is collaborative and relational—we’re in this together. I hold space in a way that feels down-to-earth and attuned, helping you not just manage symptoms but also get to the root of what’s going on. It’s about healing from the inside out.

A big part of this work is learning to mother yourself into wholeness—to reconnect with your needs, to listen inward, and to really tune into what your body is telling you. So much of healing isn’t just about thinking our way through things but feeling them, moving through them, and integrating them on a deeper level. That’s where somatic healing comes in—getting out of our heads and into our bodies.

I bring in a mix of holistic mental health counseling, somatic healing, EMDR, mother wound/attachment work, expressive arts, and energy medicine—blending modern science with ancient wisdom in a way that’s trauma-informed, culturally aware, and deeply intuitive. Every person’s healing path is different, and I’m here to support you in the way that works best for you.

At the heart of it all, I believe in integrity, connection, transparency, service, self-expression, creativity, and simplicity—values that guide not just my work, but how I live my life. This is about real, deep, embodied healing—not just talking about change, but actually feeling it happen.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to walk alongside you on your journey.

Outside the Therapy Room:
I live in rural Rhode Island with my husband, two daughters, rescue pup, and three cats. My perfect day includes sleeping in, slow mornings with a hot cup of coffee, hiking in the woods, cooking a delicious meal to good music, and spending time with family and friends. Dance is where I feel most free and most myself. I also have an ever-growing book collection (and have read most of them!). I feel most fulfilled when I’m engaged in practices that connect me to myself, my loved ones, nature, and the world around me.
This is my story. Ready to write yours?
